Scottdale Public Library Writing Contest

Based on the Dr. Suess Theme “Unless”

 “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”  So says –The Onceler.                                           

How can we use the word UNLESS to make things better at the Scottdale Library and education as a whole?                        How can the word effect you as a student?     

                                                   

Express your feelings in a short story or poem- 150 words of less.   Illustrations may be included.

*  Contest begins on March 2^nd, Dr. Seuss’s birthday.   Entry forms may be picked up at the SES Library or the Scottdale Public Library.

*  All entry forms must be returned to the Scottdale Public Library  by 7:00pm, Tuesday, March 22^nd.

 *  A 10.00 Amazon gift card will be awarded to the winner in each grade plus a 25.00 Amazon gift card for the overall winner.

*  Please put your name and grade on the back of your entry, as this information will be hidden from the 4 judges.

*  Winners will be announced on Thursday, March 31^st.
